Infant observation and its relation to our work as psychoanalysts

Title: Infant observation and its relation to our work as psychoanalysts
Author: Borensztejn, Claudia Lucia
de Abdala, N. Granciela Kohen
Dimant, Silvia Neborak
de Urman, Clara Nemas
Ungar, Virginia
Appeared in: Infant observation
Paging: Volume 1 (1998) nr. 2 pages 71-83
Year: 1998-02-01
Contents: We will not follow Hans's father either in his easily comprehensible anxieties or in his first attempts at finding explanation; we will begin by examining the material before us. It is not in the least our business to 'understand' a case at once: this is only possible at a later stage, when we have received enough impressions of it. For the present we will suspend our judgement and give our impartial attention to everything that there is to observe.
