This paper will argue that the HEI tutor has a central role in initial teacher education. It will make a case for the HEI tutor having a unique perspective of the course, the process of 'training', the experience of students and partnership with schools, and as having a pivotal position in facilitating student success on 'post 9/92 PGCE programmes.' |
