The current Israeli-Palestinian peace process is unlikely to lead to a durable peace between the two sides. This is because the process ignores the cultural aspects of the conflict. Israelis and Palestinians have opposing narratives of claim to the same land which will need to be addressed in any process of reconciliation. Without such a process, the conflict is likely to continue. |
