The probability distributions for forward birth interval have been derived assuming that the female under consideration has spent t years of her married life and fecundability varies from parity to parity. The first distribution relates to a specific parity while the other is derived regardless of parity. For the purpose of estimating some of the parameters involved in the model, rth order raw moments of the distributions have been obtained. |
