In the first part of this article we derive the equations of the linear theory of thermomicrostretch elastic solids with the help of an entropy production inequality proposed by Green and Laws. The theory permits the propagation of thermal waves at a finite speed. Then we establish a uniqueness theorem. Finally, we present a reciprocity relation and prove that it leads to another uniqueness result. |
