This article presents the stresses distribution in a perfectly elastic isotropic annular fin. The Taylor transformation method is used to solve the nonlinear temperature field equation. The stresses distribution are integrated obtain the results. The thickness of the fins is assumed to be sufficiently small so as to have a state of plane stress and one-dimensional heat conduction. |
