In this work the fundamental problem of thermoelasticity for an infinite spherically symmetric space is solved using the method of potentials. The differential equations for the potential are solved using the operational method together with the Laplace transform techniques to obtain the solution in the form of an infinite series of functions. The solution obtained is valid for all times. Numerical computations for the temperature and stress distributions,are carried out and represented graphically. |
