This essay examines Bimbaum's five types of collegiate organisations in terms of their interactiveness within closely and loosely coupled organisations. The terminology of close and loosely coupled organisations often leaves a cloudy paradigm. Exactly how does coupling relate to the way organisations act internally and externally? This brief essay refines the existing definitions within the field and presents modem day illustrations and analogies of coupling. |
