The NSW Department of Technical & Further Education provided post-secondary education to 393 361 students in 198911 covering a vast range of courses offered in 107 colleges and associated centres throughout NSW. From the commencement of the 1990 academic year, the management structure of TAFE has changed. This paper discusses the background to the establishment of the NSW Department of TAFE; the organisational structure pre-Scott; and the organisational structure of TAFE post-Scott. |
