Di-n-octyl Phthalate: Evaluation of risks to health from environmental exposure in Canada

Title: Di-n-octyl Phthalate: Evaluation of risks to health from environmental exposure in Canada
Author: Chan, P. K. L.
Meek, M. E.
Appeared in: Journal of environmental science and health. Part C, Environmental carcinogenesis & ecotoxicology reviews
Paging: Volume 12 (1994) nr. 2 pages 319-326
Year: 1994-11
Contents: Di-n-octyl phthalate (DnOP) is included on the List of Priority Substances to be assessed under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. Identified data on concentrations of DnOP in environmental media are limited. Based on fugacity modelling of environmental concentrations, inhalation is the predicted principal route of exposure of the general population to DnOP. Adequate data on the carcinogenicity of DnOP were not identified and available information was considered insufficient for development of a tolerable daily concentration or intake.
