Contents: Constructivist psychology has opened a frontier of new considerations with respect to ethical practice. This article introduces the special issue on ethics and constructivist psychology. It provides an overview of key implications of constructivist psychology as they relate to considering an ethics of practice. Particular attention is given to two central features of a constructivist approach to practice: that understanding is an interpretive matter, and that communication involves reflexive participation. The article concludes with an outline of the authors and their contributions to this special issue.
