On the initiative of the Assembly of the IUPsyS a Committee for Psychological Study of Peace was established by the Executive Committee in Sydney, 1988. The following persons were invited to the new Committee: Ruben Ardila (Columbia), Morton Deutsch (USA), Philip Genov (Bulgaria), Klaus Helkama (Finland), and Toshio Iritani (Japan). Adolf Kossakowski (GDR) was invited to act as the Chairman and Martti Takala (Finland, Vice-president of the IUPsyS) as the Vice-Chairman. |
