Tensile Strength and Ultimate Elongation of Rubber-Fibrous Compositions

Title: Tensile Strength and Ultimate Elongation of Rubber-Fibrous Compositions
Author: Dzyura, E. A.
Appeared in: International journal of polymeric materials
Paging: Volume 8 (1980) nr. 2-3 pages 165-173
Year: 1980-09-01
Contents: Data are presented which show that the mechanism of fracture in rubber-fiber composites is governed by the adhesion of the matrix material to the fiber as well as the strength of the matrix. Degree of orientation of the fiber is also important.
