Secondary Relaxations of Swollen Polymethacrylates and Methacrylate Copolymers

Title: Secondary Relaxations of Swollen Polymethacrylates and Methacrylate Copolymers
Author: Janacek, J.
Kolarˆik, J.
Appeared in: International journal of polymeric materials
Paging: Volume 5 (1976) nr. 1-2 pages 71-88
Year: 1976-07-01
Contents: Studies of relaxation behavior of a series of glassy polymethacrylates show that polar groups, comonomers and diluents affect the secondary transitions of the polymers in a similar manner as they affect the main transition regions. Polar groups in the side chain increase the transition temperatures. Increasing diluent causes a decrease in transition temperatures and some new secondary dispersions.
