Contents: The health education project 'Topteams ban sports injuries' was implemented in order to get trainers to pay attention to the prevention of sports injuries in a systematic way. For this purpose, practical educational material was developed. The project was evaluated in two ways. Both the trainers' appreciation for the practical material and, on the other hand, the progress of the health education project were investigated The trainers could give their opinion on the material on questionnaires. The overall conclusion of this research is that the practical format, the contents and the clarity of the material are well adjusted to the information level and the wishes of the trainers. The trainers indicated that they are able to tackle the sports injury problem adequately by using the materials The health education project took over two years and involved several organizations and persons. The overall conclusion of the evaluation was that the complex project was executed in accordance with the initial plans.
