Contents: A method is described for calculation of the equivalent circuit elements, R, L, C, G, for single dielectric transverse electromagnetic (TEM) transmission lines. The method utilizes the graphical solution of the Laplace equation in the cross-section of the line. As an example of application of the method, the calculations are carried through for a coaxial line of a square cross-section.
