The effects of the transfer system and amplifier response on the accuracy of electronic integrators are discussed, using some quantities which follow from the step function response. Simple expressions for the error due to the response are obtained assuming that the integration current is negligible or constant in a sufficiently long time preceding the end of integration. Under these conditions the errors duo to the response can be made negligible even if the response is comparatively slow, if the response function shape satisfies given criteria. |
