Some previous results concerning the invariant zeros and transmission zeros of invertible, linear, time-invariant, multivariable systems are extended. It is shown that, for any invertible system, the invariant zeros defined as the poles of a minimal-order system inverse are equivalent to those zeros defined via the co-prime factorization of the transfer matrix of the system. Utilizing this result together with the concept of ' r-derivative ' system introduced in this report, a computationally efficient method previously proposed for determining invariant zeros and transmission zeros of a certain class of invertible systems is extended to be applicable to all invertible By stems. |
