Computing access in public space (CAPS) is described as bringing a computing system into a public place. This includes a library, an airport terminal, a hospital waiting room, or a museum. These environments have unique characteristics that make designing applications for CAPS a challenging experience This article presents the case study of one such CAPS environment. The interactive application for the Learning Center of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is chronicled in its design, implementation, and testing prior to its installation in this new museum |
