A simple, inexpensive adaptation of a Lourdes CFR-1 rotor to a Sorvall RC2B centrifuge is described. This system allows efficient, reliable harvesting of readily sedimenting particles from solution at flow rates of 20-50 L/hr. without a number of disadvantages or cost of other such systems presently available. This system is of potential utility to a wide variety of researchers. |
