A simple and rapid procedure, for the simultaneous assay of vitamins B1 and B6 in Benexol(R), has been developed. The method involves the use of PMR spectrometry; in which the integrals of the downfield signals of both vitamins are measured and compared to that of the sharp singlet of maleic acid used as an internal standard. The mean percent recoveries of vitamins B1 and B6 have been found to be 97.57 ± 1.52 and 97.42 ± 2.99, respectively. |
