This study looks at the behaviour of prices in the student rented housing market It investigates the role of different housing characteristics such as damp, location, heating, noise and legal factors as influences on rental. Of the factors considered it appears that only three are statistically significant — distance from college site and dampness reduce rental whilst the presence of a written contract raises it. |
