Dispersion relations for nonlinear TE waves guided by a waveguide that has a buried secant hyperbolic profile in the film with a self-focusing nonlinear cover medium have been obtained rigorously. It is shown that for the same diffusion depth, the local maximum power flow for TE0, and TE1 modes increases as the buying depth is increased. |
