Chromium doped single crystals of lithium rubidium sulphate are grown by slow evaporation technic. The optical Spectrum in UV-VIS region is recorded on PERKIN ELMER spectrophotometer. The IR spectrum is recorded on Pye Unicam IR spectrophotometer. The UV spectrum is characteristic of cr3+ ion in trigonal (C3v) symmetry. The IR spectrum is characteristic of so42- in C2v symmetry. |
