Contents: Photorefraction of doped noncentrosymmetric crystals, caused by spatially-oscillating photovoltaic currents, makes possible the holographic recording by two orthogonally polarized waves, ordinary and extraordinary, and allows several vectorial multiwave interactions. The present paper shows how a new information on the photovoltaic effect can be extracted from the study of vectorial interactions.
