We report experiments in which stable ferroelectric domain patterns are produced near the coercive field and Curie temperature transitions, after having illuminated (Sr, Ba)Nb2O6 crystals with holographic gratings. Domain patterns are replica of the holographic gratings and give rise to high holographic diffraction efficiencies. Revelation of these patterns is attributed to photoelectrons that are redistributed in the domain pattern and leave it uncompensated. |
