THERMOSOLUTAL CONVECTION HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN A VERTICAL ANNULAR ENCLOSURE

Title: THERMOSOLUTAL CONVECTION HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN A VERTICAL ANNULAR ENCLOSURE
Author: Wang, L. W.
Wei, C Y.
Appeared in: Experimental heat transfer
Paging: Volume 5 (1992) nr. 4 pages 315-328
Year: 1992-10-01
Contents: The purpose of the present study is to investigate flows resulting from buoyancy forces due to a combination of temperature and species concentration effects in a vertical annular enclosure. An electrochemical system is described that enables opposing temperature and concentration gradients to be imposed. Complex flow patterns are observed as the parameters are varied.
