This paper explains further development of phase co-ordinates theory as related to a specific type of single phase induction motors. Specific tests to find the parameters of the motor, and transient tests to verify the accuracy of the model carried out on the actual motor. The full-load run-up test results are satisfactorily compared with those obtained from the phase model analysis. |
