The MVA power loss allocation method has been proposed. Based on the traditional power flow solution, the branch power losses are equalized. By using the topological method and the proportionality assumption, various contribution factors are obtained. According to the usage of users for the branch lines, the line charging reactive power has been allocated to the load power or generation power. According to the relative relationships, the MVA sharing problem of transmission facilities, the MVA loss allocation can be solved. The software has been developed for complicated power systems. The analysis method in this paper can improve the transparency for the electricity market. Detailed analysis examples are presented. |
