The Clearinghouse for Higher Education Assessment Instruments, funded in part by the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education, has been established at the University of Tennessee to assist institutions in finding, evaluating, selecting, and / or developing educational outcomes measures. In order to document the current availability and use of commercially and institutionally (locally) developed instruments, a survey was developed and mailed to over 3,400 2- and 4-year institutions. Results provide insight into what is being assessed and the types of instruments being used and developed by 2-year institutions. |
