This study investigated the views of corporate employers on the desired amount and importance of general education in the two year occupational degree program. Specifically, the desired amount was measured as the proportion of the total program that participants would devote to the study of general education. Likewise, the importance was distinguished by ranking specified general education competencies and courses typically required by community colleges. |
