An empirical Bayes decision procedure for testing for the parameter 0 of a distribution with density function f0(x) = I(0,0)(x)b(x)/B(θ) is proposed. It is shown that this procedure is asymptotically optimal and that the order of associated convergence rate is O(n-r/3) for some constant 0 < r < 2, where n is the number of accumulated past observation at hand. |
