As far as is known, no distribution-free test for treatment effects in the presence of nested column effects, is available, Therefore anadjusted Friedman-type test is derived, which is asymptotically the same as the Friedman-type test of Mack and Skillings (1980). If the assumption of commensurability holds, the adjustment is made by means of the renumbering of the cells within rows. |
