Let [image omitted] be a random sample of i.i.d. real-valued random variables with unknown density f and assume that [image omitted] with no known, are left censored by a given constant c, while [image omitted] are unaffected by the censoring. In the paper suitable ernel estimators of f are proposed and their symptotic properties are discussed. Also,a preliminary Monte Carlo study of these estimators is included. |
