in a recent paper Takacs [1] generalized the classical ballot problem and used the results of the classical ballot problem to analyze the busy period in queues involving arrivals in batches or departures in batches. In this paper the generalized ballot problem is used to analyze the busy period in queues having both batch arrivals and batch departures. |
