By adopting the Bayesian approach, this paper proposes an alternative procedure for the estimation of linkage.Through simulation studies, the proposed method was then compared with the classical maximum likelihood method. The numerical results indicate clearly that in most of the cases, the Bayesian method is better than the maximum likelihood method, especially in the repulsion phase. |
