In this paper we provide a supplementary set of truncation numbers (n0) for δ*-values not studied in Bechhofer and Goldsman (1987). These are necessary to implement the truncated sequential selection procedure [image omitted] . Performance characteristics are given for [image omitted] used with the new n0-values. A by-product of this study was the discovery of a remarkable and completely unexpected pattern among the estimated n0-values. The practical implications of this finding are indicated. |
