Assuming Makeham-Gompertz mortality a general expression for the r-th derivative ax: with respect to x is obtained. This expression includes an incomplete Gamma function, which may be evaluated by a computer program. It can be used in assessing the error made with the n-ages method when approximating integrals and sums of products of ax with another function of x. |
