R is a left non commutative noetherian.ring with unit element,ρ a prime ideal in R, C(ρ) the multiplicative set of regular elements modulo ρ.We know that the existence of a classical ring of left fractions of R with respect to C(ρ) is implied by the left Ore condition:[image omitted] suchthat a's=s'a Many properties are known in order to obtain it, especially those,owed to J. Lambek and others, which involve the generalized ring of left fractions Q(R). Our purpose is to provide new properties equivalent to the left Ore condition, formulated in various ways. |
