In this paper, we explore the relation between small cofinite irreducibles and cyclic submodules in the dual. As an application, we show that an Artinian module over a Noetherian local ring is the finite sum of submodules Ci, each of which has the property that every finitely generated submodule is contained in a cyclic submodule. |
