Let R be a ring and I a completely prime ideal of R.Suppose that I is generated by a regular normalising set of elements and that I has the Artin-Rees property.In this paper, we show that the completion of R at I is a domain.As a corollary, we give another proof for the following result of Du Cloux.Let g be a finite dimensional nilpotent Lie algebra over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero.The completion of U(g) at a primitive ideal I is a domain.Let g be a finite dimensional solvable Lie algebra over the complex numbers.We have partial results in this case.We show that if M is a maximal ideal and if M is a localisable prime of U(g), then the completion of U(g) at M is a domain. |
