All graduate programs are subject to periodic assessment. The aim of this essay is to assist speech communication departments prepare for self-study and review. Because such reviews are important to a department's welfare, they must be conducted intelligently. Standards and methods for evaluation are discussed as are characteristics of program quality. The emphasis is on improvement of speech communication graduate programs. |
