The density, viscosity and surface tension of binary liquid mixtures of (x 2-propanol + (1 -; x) ethylacetate) and (x 2-propanol + (1 -; x) benzene) have been studied at 20, 25 and 30°C. From the experimental results, excess volume, excess viscosity, excess surface tension and excess Gibbs free energy for the activation of flow have been computed. The Grunberg and Nissan parameter, d have also been calculated. The results obtained are ascribed to the intermolecular interactions present in the mixtures
