The discharge of single and two-phase mixtures of Freon-113 through an orifice and two restrictions, of length to diameter ratios of 4 and 10, has been investigated. The results obtained indicate a high degree of metastability and essentially no flashing at the test conditions. These data appear to be in conflict with some of the studies by earlier investigators. Reasons for the apparent discrepancy are proposed. |
