APPLICATION OF AN ELECTRODIC TECHNIQUE TO STUDY TRANSPORT ACROSS MONOLAYERS

Title: APPLICATION OF AN ELECTRODIC TECHNIQUE TO STUDY TRANSPORT ACROSS MONOLAYERS
Author: Desai, Nirav
Stroeve, Pieter
Appeared in: Chemical engineering communications
Paging: Volume 11 (1981) nr. 1-3 pages 113-122
Year: 1981-07-01
Contents: Monolayers have been extensively studied as a model for the natural biological membrane. The dropping mercury electrode has been developed by Pagano and Miller to study transport of species across lipid monolayers at the gas/water interface. New measurements show that this technique can be used to study the monolayer at the oil/water interface.
