This paper poses the question of how facility managers (FMs) can make use of the feedback from post-occupancy evaluation (POE) and some implications for their emerging role. Many UK FMs lack understanding and incentives to use evaluation, feedback and systematic review. Suggestions for empowering FMs and overcoming the barriers to this problem are proposed, along with shifting the FM role from a reactive nature to an emphasis on quality improvement and strategic development. Cet essay soulive la question de savoir comment les gerants d'etablissement pourraient utiliser les informations des precedents locataires. Cet essay e'vogue egalement les consequences relatives au role maissant de ces gerants. De nombreux gerants d'etablissement en Grande-Bretagne manquent de comprehension et de motivation a l'egard de l'utilisation des declarations des locatiires. Des suggestions pour renforcer le ouvoir des gerants d'etablissement et pour sur mouter ces problemes sont faites. Cet essay propose un changement du role de ces gerants dans le but d'accentuer la qualite et le developement strategique du leur action. |
