  Energy-Saving by Flow Temperature Regulation

Title: Energy-Saving by Flow Temperature Regulation
Author: Mørk, Preben
Appeared in: Building research & information
Paging: Volume 13 (1985) nr. 6 pages 376-379
Year: 1985-11
Contents: The article describes an investigation by the Indoor Climate Division of the Danish Building Research Institute (SBI) into the effects of one of the most common energy-saving measures, namely outdoor temperature-dependent flow temperature regulation with night and weekend temperature set-back. The investigation was carried out in 14 buildings with a total of 25 heating plants. The results showed that only a few of the buildings had the necessary operational background for achieving the energy savings calculated.
