This qualitative study seeks to locate those needs which teachers of religious education have in their initial year of teaching at the secondary level. It uses two instruments, a case study and a questionnaire, to obtain this information.The results of the study raise important questions relating to the provision of in-service training, the Post Graduate Certificate in Education, the role of schools in teacher training and the direction of future research. |
