The differences between the WAIS subtest attainments of schizophrenics, depressives, and psychoneurotics and personality disorders were investigated, using age norms and deviations from individual means as subtest scores. No significant differences were found, except for the Vocabulary attainment of the psychoneurotic and personality disorders group which was more variable than that of the depressive group. It was concluded that WAIS subtest scores can not be used in differential diagnosis of functional disorders. |
