This analysis presents statistics that refute the notion that elections held in Muslim countries result in the victory of Islamists. In presenting extensive evidence to the contrary, this article offers support for President Bush's policy of exerting pressure on the rulers of such countries to hold free elections in order to achieve the goal of good governance. |
